This safari is a truly remarkable experience. Fly to Coen on Cape York by private jet and then helicopter to the remote Melanie Camp. Melanie Camp is an exclusive Cape York campground, set amongst the rainforest on the banks of the pristine Massy River. North of Princess Charlotte Bay on the remote eastern coast of Cape York, the camp is fully equipped, offering the clientele; heli-fishing, bird-watching, hunting and safari style adventure.

We will provide you with a few options for each location based on your input, and then facilitate your reservations and advise an all inclusive quotation for the tour.

Day 1

Travel by your private jet to Cape York then helicopter to the remote Melanie Camp. During the jet flight drop into the outback and a remote town to experience the isolation and unique lifestyle of the people of outback Australia, before proceeding to Cape York.

Day 2/3

Melanie Camp Wilderness experience – 2 days to explore this unique area, your guide will escort you by helicopter, boat or safari vehicle and show you the local area – an experience not to be missed.

Day 4

From Cape York travel to either, Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane on the final leg of your journey.

For an authentic and comfortable camping experience, accommodation consists of seven high quality safari style permanent guest tents. Tents have interior and exterior lighting, fans and ultra comfortable king single stretcher beds with quality bed linen. All tents are on the river bank with exceptional views and discreet pathway lighting provides night-time safety for guests. Undercover bush style kitchen is fully equipped with fridge/freezer/iceboxes. Tasty camp tucker cooked by your own personal camp cook is included

Bathroom facilities include clean, bush-style hot/cold shower and flushing toilet. Laundry facilities are also available.

Fully inclusive

Accommodation in safari style tent with either two x king single camp stretchers (double) or one x jumbo camp stretcher (single), bath towels, food and non-alcoholic drinks, access permit fees PLUS fishing tackle and guided fishing and/or wildlife spotting at your leisure. You won’t help but become friends with your fishing guide who has lived and fished these waters for 10 years. Be prepared for fun packed days of serious fishing and crabbing.

Our guide knows the tides, creeks, rivers and waterholes like the back of his hand to give you the safest and best opportunities of fishing, wildlife spotting or exploring. During your stay, your guide has access to a dedicated R44 helicopter and Pilot who will be available to make this the Adventure of a Lifetime. Incredible coastal scenery from the Daintree to north of Silver Plains plus access to unfished waters for three days!
